how to restart industrial production in districts: Maharashtra

Maharashtra’s Industries Minister Subhash Desai has asked his department to prepare a proposal to resume industrial production in the districts where no cases of coronovirus have been found.

However, there will be no permission for any industrial or commercial activity in the Mumbai metropolitan area and Pune, which are classified as red areas due to a high number of coronovirus cases.

Desai tweeted on Monday evening, “I have asked my department to come up with a proposal to start industrial production from districts except Mumbai and Pune.”

“One of the major demands before the Center is that we will provide bank loans for the next few months, so that small and medium industries can pay their employees,” he said.

An official said that the financial capital of the country is now the cause of 1,540 COVID-19 cases and 101 deaths alone.
