Earthquake hits Jakarta – 20 dead 300 injured
Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, has been hit by an earthquake. The magnitude of the earthquake was 5.6 on the Richter scale. 20 people died and 300 people were injured. The administration has said that there is no danger of tsunami due to this earthquake.
Sianjur, about 75 kilometers west of the capital Jakarta, was the epicenter of the earthquake. The epicenter of the magnitude 5.6 earthquake was about 10 kilometers underground. Many buildings have also been damaged.
