Veteran composer Appasaheb Dharmadhikari was honored with ‘Maharashtra Bhushan’ award in Navi Mumbai on Sunday. Lakhs of Shrisevaks were present for the program in full sun.
Couldn’t we have avoided the scandals that took place at this ceremony?
Sometimes we get to read news of heat stroke in Mumbai as well. Didn’t the administration realize that the event should be held in the evening without doing it in such a hot sun? Although the government has announced help to the relatives of the deceased, Raj Thackeray also said in a tweet that such unfortunate incidents do not happen again and the administration does not commit such mistakes.
Meanwhile, Raj Thackeray went to MGM Hospital in Navi Mumbai and met the Shreesevaks who participated in the program and are currently undergoing treatment for heat stroke.
