Confusion in the Legislative Assembly due to the contempt of freedom fighter Veer Savarkar, work adjourned for some time

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s derogatory statement about freedom fighter Savarkar also reverberated in the Legislative Assembly on Friday. Finally the work of the Legislative Assembly was adjourned for twenty minutes.
On Thursday, BJP-Shiv Sena MLAs staged a joint protest on the steps of the Legislature due to Rahul Gandhi’s insulting remarks about freedom hero Savarkar. However, Congress-Nationalists objected to it and raised this issue in the House. He was also given a strong response by the ruling MLAs.
In this confusion, Assembly Speaker Rahul Narvekar adjourned the proceedings of the House.
