In the Dombivli East branch of Pai ‘Friends Library’ dedicated to ‘Poetry and Poetic Literature’. B. Dhamanskar library was inaugurated on Sunday by poetess Kiran Yele. Poet D.Bha. Dhamanskar was not present at the event. Audio video of his occultation was shown.
It is the first library not only in Maharashtra but also in India dedicated to poetry and poetic literature. The concept of the library is Dr.Pralhad Deshpande, a senior member of Kavyrasik Mandal, and poet D. Bh. Dhamanskar’s son Ajit was present.
A small section has been made available in Pai Friends’ Library for books of poetry available with the Board.
Kavyasik Mandal announces poetry awards every year. At that time, Kavrasik Mandal handed over all this collection of books to Pai Pundalik Pai, Surveyor of Pai Friends Library, with the aim of reaching the readers.
Expressing the occult this time, Kavivarya Yele said, a poet is not born in a day. Many incidents have come and gone that have shaped his mentality and sensitivity. Poetry cannot be taught like other arts, it requires sensitive cultivation of the mind. Yale said. Bh. Some poems of Dhamanskar were presented.
Vaidehi Joshi, the current president of Kavyrasik Mandal, gave a brief information about this library. In the program, President of the Board Vaidehi Joshi, members Praveen Damle, Mrinal Kelkar, Swati Bhataye, Ajit Mahadkar also presented some poems. Council advisor Jayant Kulkarni listened to some English writers, examples of writing and some Urdu poems about books and libraries.
Board member Mahesh Deshpande briefly introduced Kavivarya Kiran Yele.
