The qualification of contract doctors of 16 suburban hospitals of the Municipal Corporation will be checked

It has been decided to check the degrees and certificates of the contract doctors provided by external sources in the intensive care units, medical intensive care units of 16 suburban hospitals of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation.

The health department of the municipal corporation has given these orders in the background of the case of bogus doctors working in the intensive care unit of MT Agarwal Hospital in Mulund.

After an inquiry into the matter after the order of the court, it came to light that the degree certificates of some of the doctors here were fake.

It has been decided to check the degree certificates of all doctors in intensive care units run by Jeevan Jyot Trust and other organizations.
