The first phase of Mumbai Metro 3 will be completed by December 23- Chief Minister Eknath Shinde

Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said that the first phase of Mumbai Metro-3 will be completed by the end of December 2023. Late on Tuesday night, Chief Minister Shinde inspected the subway line from Churchgate to Vidhan Bhavan of Mumbai Metro-3 phase. He was talking at that time.
Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Brijesh Singh, Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation Director (Projects) Subodh Gupta along with senior officials were present.
Mumbai Metro Line-3 (Kulaba-Bandre-Sipz) is the first and only fully underground metro line proposed for Mumbai. Due to this, the traffic stress will be greatly reduced and the safety of passengers has been given priority in the metro. Chief Minister Shinde said that care has been taken to ensure that there will be no air and noise pollution by using very advanced technology.
Apart from Metro-1, 2, 6 and 9 as well as the Monorail, the Metro 3 route will also connect the suburban railway line at Churchgate and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus and the airports in Mumbai. Chief Minister Shinde also said that the first phase of Metro-3 railway will be completed by the end of December 2023 and the second phase before June 2024.
