Ten percent water cut in Mumbai from today

Ten percent water reduction has been started in Mumbai from today. The municipal administration had decided to cut water in the last week of June due to depletion of water reserves in the lakes that supply water to Mumbai.

Heavy rain is falling in the water supply lake area and the water storage in it has also increased, but still this water cut has been implemented from today.

Due to the heavy rains in the dam area, the water storage in the dam has increased to some extent and this water storage has now reached 10.88 percent. This water storage had gone down to six percent.
