Plight of passengers on Western Railway due to breakage of overhead wire

On the Western Railway at around 10 am this morning during the rush hours, the overhead wire broke and the trains got stuck in one place causing distress to working passengers.
Three locales, including an air-conditioned one, were derailed after an overhead wire broke on the Up express line between Dahisar-Borivali railway stations. Traffic was diverted to the slow lane. Due to this, the railway service collapsed.
Traffic was blocked on the Borivali to Churchgate route. Many passengers preferred to get down and travel through the railway tracks.
