The All India Prant Pracharak meeting of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) successfully concluded on Sunday in Belagavi, Karnataka. The three-day high-level meeting witnessed intense brainstorming on several pressing social and national challenges currently facing the country. Key discussions centered around the rising demographic imbalance in the nation, the growing menace of drug abuse among the youth, and the alleged irregularities in the donation box funds at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya.
The crucial meeting was attended by RSS Chief (Sarsanghchalak) Dr. Mohan Bhagwat and General Secretary (Sarkaryavah) Dattatreya Hosabale, along with 226 prominent office-bearers and workers from across the country. Sunil Ambekar, the All India Publicity In-charge of the Sangh, shared the outcomes of the meeting through an official press release.

Furthermore, in view of the ongoing RSS Centenary Year, the organization resolved to actively engage new members in social service and the ‘Panch Parivartan’ campaign (which advocates for social harmony, family values, environmental conservation, swadeshi, and civic duties).
Deliberations on National Challenges: Demographic Imbalance and Drug Crisis
The meeting highlighted serious concerns regarding the following socio-security issues:
Demographic Imbalance: In light of the upcoming national census, the RSS expressed deep concern over the potential challenges arising from shifting demographic imbalances in various regions.
The Drug Menace: Expressing grave concern over the increasing grip of drug addiction among the youth, the Sangh stressed the urgent need to run dedicated socio-awareness campaigns to build a drug-free society.
Sant Ravidas Jayanti: Plans were finalized to organize nationwide social and educational programs to mark the 650th birth anniversary year of Sant Shiromani Ravidas Maharaj.
Grief and Concern Over Ram Mandir Donation Box Issue
The RSS expressed deep grief over the reported irregularities and alleged financial mismanagement during the counting of the donation box funds at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya. The Sangh expressed full faith that the ongoing investigation by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) and the police would soon bring the legal process to a decisive conclusion. Additionally, the RSS noted that the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust must implement strict measures to prevent any such unpleasant incidents in the future, ensuring that the faith of millions of Ram devotees worldwide remains unshaken.
