For the same resin A petition has been filed in the Supreme Court demanding that candidate’s educational qualification, name, age and photograph should be given instead of election symbol on ballot paper and voting machines. The petition will be heard tomorrow, Monday.
Advocate Ashwini Kumar Upadhyay has filed a petition. The hearing is likely to be held before a bench of Chief Justice Uday Lalit, Justice SR Bhat, Justice Bela Trivedi.
It is also claimed in the petition that if the candidate’s age and educational qualification are given on the voting machine, then voters will consider voting for an intelligent and honest candidate.
