Mumbai, In the wake of derailment of Mumbai-Bhubaneswar Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT) Express, Central Railway has set up helplines at five stations to update the passengers of train passengers about the accident on Thursday.
Helplines have been set up at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT), Dadar and LTT and neighboring Thane and Kalyan stations in Mumbai.
The helpline numbers are CSMT- 55993 (railway number) and 022-22624040, Dadar- 57390and 022-24114836, LTT- 62606 and 022-25280005, Thane- 69090 and 022-25334840, and Kalyan- 63360 and 0251-2311499.
Central Railway Chief Public Relations Officer Shivaji Sutar said, “Since the train started from Mumbai, we have set up an additional helpline so that relatives of passengers traveling by train can get updates.”

Railway officials said eight coaches of the Mumbai-Bhubaneswar LTT Express derailed near Cuttack in Odisha on Thursday morning. An official said at least 15 passengers were injured, four of them with major injuries.
He said that there was dense fog at the scene, but after thorough questioning, the exact cause of the accident would be known.
