The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has set up an emergency control room for monsoons. This room will start from tomorrow (June 1).
The problems arising during the rainy season at the project site of MMRDA, as well as in the vicinity of the project, will be resolved through this room.
Complaints are followed up 24 hours under the control room and coordination is done with disaster control rooms of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation, Public Works Department, Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation, Railways etc. Also, complaints of citizens are redressed by exchanging information.
