The contract labor law should be restructured for the benefit of the workers – demand of Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh

A resolution was passed in the national convention of Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh held at Patna that the contract labor law should be restructured for the benefit of the workers by stopping the arbitrary action of the government and the administration regarding the contract labor system.
Agitations and protest should be held at all collectorate offices across the country to demand justice for organized and unorganized workers. Shri B Surendran, All India Union Minister of Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh appealed that a copy of this should be sent to Prime Minister Narendra Modi through the District Collector.
National President of Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh Hiranmay Pandya, General Secretary Ravindra Himte were present on this occasion.
All workers should get social security, ‘Labour Policy’ should be prepared for economic development, ‘Living Wage’ instead of minimum wage was also approved in this session.
Bham Sangh Maharashtra State President Anil Dhumane said that public awareness will be created by holding agitation everywhere in the state of Maharashtra as well. Maharashtra Electricity Contract Workers’ Union President Nilesh Kharat and General Secretary Sachin Mengale have appealed that the contract workers of Maharashtra should participate unitedly in this movement.
