State level scheme ‘Amrita Mahaavaas’ will launch tomorrow

On the occasion of the Amrit Jubilee year of Indian Independence, ‘Amrit Mahaavas Abhiyan’ will be implemented in Maharashtra. It will be launched tomorrow Thursday (24) at Yashwantrao Chavan Pratishthan in Mumbai.
Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Assembly Speaker Adv.Rahul Narvekar will be present as chief guests.
Rural Development Minister Girish Mahajan informed that the dream of five lakh poor, homeless and landless beneficiaries will be fulfilled in the ‘Amrit Mahaavas Abhiyan’ initiative being implemented in the entire state.

Mahajan also said that during the campaign period, programs will be organized to provide space to the landless beneficiaries, distribute all installments to the approved households, complete all the remaining households under the Indira Awas Yojana, and implement innovative activities.
