Reshuffle in Police Force, Sadanand Date promoted as Director General

Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) Chief Sadanand Date and Thane Police Commissioner Jaijit Singh have been promoted as Director General and both have been retained in their posts.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Abhinav Deshmukh has been given the post of Additional Commissioner of Police, South Regional Division, Mumbai. Anil Paraskar has been promoted as Additional Commissioner of Police, Central Division. M. Ramkumar has been promoted to the post of Additional Commissioner of Police, Traffic Department, Mumbai. Virendra Mishra, who is awaiting appointment, has the post of Additional Commissioner of Police, Special Branch; While Deepak Sakore has been given the responsibility of additional police commissioner of Navi Mumbai. Punjabrao Ugle has been transferred as Additional Commissioner of Police, Crime Branch, Thane.
Bipin Kumar Singh has been promoted to the post of Managing Director of Maharashtra State Security Corporation. Interestingly, Pimpri Chinchwad Assistant Commissioner of Police Manoj Lohia has been appointed in place of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar Police Commissioner Nikhil Gupta, who has been in the news for the past few days.
