Record revenue of Rs 232.50 crore to Central Railway through parcel revenue

In the financial year 2022-23 (April to February), Central Railway has collected a record revenue of Rs 232.50 crore through parcel revenue. Around Rs.232.50 crore was earned from 4.56 lakh tonnes of parcels and goods transport.

An income of Rs.24.81 crore has been earned from 201 runs of parcel trains and Rs.14.97 crore from 99 runs of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus – Shalimar parcel train, Rs.6.25 crore from Bhiwandi – Jalgaon to Azra 30 indent parcel train and lease parcel train from Godhani to Tinsukia Junction. 3.59 crores has been earned from 22 rounds.
