One-way traffic will start from the tunnel on the Mumbai-Goa highway in Kashedi Ghat- Construction Minister Ravindra Chavan

Public Works Minister Ravindra Chavan informed that one-way traffic will be started from the tunnel on the Mumbai-Goa highway in Kashedi Ghat before the coming monsoon.
Chavan reviewed the works of rural roads and national highways in the state. After that he was talking to media representatives.
In Maharashtra, three lakh kilometers of road works are going on at a fast pace at the national, state and rural levels. A meeting was organized today to review the difficulties faced in this. Chavan also said that the problems arising were resolved by discussing with all the concerned officials.
The problem faced in Mumbai Goa highway was also reviewed. This road will be completed in three phases. Many of these roads will be made one-way before monsoon. Chavan also said that due to the collapse of soil in Parashuram Ghat, some removal of this soil will be completed.
