Acharya Balshastri Jambhekar will make substantial provisions in the Journalist Honor Scheme – Chief Minister Shinde

Acharya Balshastri Jambhekar Journalist Samman Yojana has been started to show respect and gratitude to the senior journalists of the state and to provide them financial support in their declining years. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said that a substantial provision will be made for this and a meeting will be held soon regarding the conditions for this scheme.
State Level Journalism Awards for the year 2021 and 2022 of the Ministry and Legislature Correspondents Association were conferred in a function held at Sahyadri Guest House. The Chief Minister was speaking at that time.
Revenue and Animal Husbandry Minister Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil, Industries Minister Uday Samant, Ports and Mines Minister Dadaji Bhuse, Labor Minister Suresh Khade, MP Hemant Godse, Senior Journalist Madhukar Bhave, Director General in charge of Information and Public Relations Hemraj Bagul along with President of Legislature Correspondents Association Pramod Doifode, Vice President Mahesh Pawar, Acting Praveen Puro, Treasurer Vinod Yadav were present.
Efforts are being made to provide health facilities to journalists and their family members. Shankarao Chavan Golden Jubilee Journalists Welfare Fund Committee has been established with the objective of helping journalists or their families in case of serious illness, accident or sudden death. Chief Minister Shinde also said that the government decision on its reorganization and accreditation committee will be taken at the earliest.
Senior Journalist, MP Kumar Ketkar has been announced for the year 2021. Samak State Level Lifetime Achievement Award was accepted by Aniket Joshi in Ketkar’s absence. Senior Journalist Award 2022 was presented to Ajay Vaidya.
Chief Minister Eknath Shinde felicitated the awardees by presenting mementos, mementos, shawls and shrifal. In this, State Level Outstanding Journalism Award (Newspaper) of the year 2021. Beed Reporter, Sheikh Rizwan Sheikh Khalil of Beed, State Level Excellence in Journalism Award (Electronic Media) News 18 Lokmat, Vilas Bade of Mumbai, State Level Excellence in Journalism Award (Correspondent Team Member) Dai.Bhaskar, Vinod Yadav of Mumbai were felicitated. State Level Outstanding Journalism Award 2022 (Newspaper) Gadchiroli District Representative Avinash Bhandekar, State Level Outstanding Journalism Award (Electronic Media) Bureau Chief Sam TV Mumbai’s Rashmi Puranik, State Level Outstanding Journalism Award (Correspondent Team Member) Dai Punyangari Kishore Apte of Mumbai is included.
Industries Minister Uday Samant, Senior Journalist Madhukar Bhave, President of Ministry and Legislature Correspondents Association Pramod Doifode expressed their thoughts.
