New Pedestrian Bridge at Kopar Railway Station Commenced

A pedestrian bridge has been opened connecting Central Railway’s Kopar Railway Station and Unnat Kopar Railway Station (on the Diwas-Vasai route). .
The footbridge/stairway from Kopar railway station to Upper Kopar railway station was narrow. Keeping in mind the increasing rush of passengers at Kopar railway station, the Central Railway Administration started the construction of a pedestrian bridge between Kopar railway station and Upper Kopar railway stations last year.
Considering the increasing load of pedestrians on the old bridge, the railway administration has immediately opened the new bridge for traffic.
