Five new fire stations in Mumbai city and suburbs

New fire stations will be set up at five locations in Mumbai city and suburbs. Thakur Village in Kandivali East,
Kanjurmarg West L. B. Places include S Marg, Juhu Tara Road in Santacruz West, Mahul Road in Chembur and Amboli in Andheri West.
A special provision was made for new fire stations in the municipal budgets 2022-2023 and 2023-2024. The responsibility of their construction has been given to the city engineer department. However, none of these centers have been operational so far.
The center at Kandivali will be operational by the end of 2023. The center near Bhandup will be completed in two years. Its foundation work has been completed. But the work of the center of Santa Cruz is stuck due to the drain coming in some parts.
