The Development Government in Maharashtra, headed by Uddhav Thackeray, on Monday placed supplementary demands of a total of Rs 16,120 crore on the first day of the winter session.
Of the total supplementary demands, Rs 525 crore has been sought for those affected by natural disasters, while Rs 2,000 crore has been earmarked for drinking water and sanitation schemes.
The demands will be discussed and then approved in the next two days.
