Maharashtra Bhushan’ award for 2022 announced to senior cinematographer Appasaheb Dharmadhikari

The ‘Maharashtra Bhushan’ award for 2022 has been announced to senior illustrator and social activist Appasaheb Dharmadhikari. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde announced this on Wednesday.
The Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister sealed the recommendation made by the Maharashtra Bhushan Selection Committee. After that, the Chief Minister also met Appasaheb at Revdanda on Wednesday.
This social work was started by his father Dr. Nanasaheb Dharmadhikari from 1943 and today Appasaheb Dharmadhikari is doing the same work.

Padmashri Dattatreya and Appasaheb Dharmadhikari have been preaching for the past 30 years, they have started special children’s sanskar meetings for superstitions, children’s rituals and have also done a great work of de-addiction in tribal wadis and settlements.

In recent times, the organization has planted the most amount of trees and also organizes tree conservation, lake and cleanliness campaign, blood donation camp. He has also given an environment-friendly message to the society by making fertilizer from Nirmalya after Ganeshotsav and Navratri festival. Appasaheb Dharmadhikari is also known as the ‘Envoy of Cleanliness’.
Appasaheb did his primary to secondary education in Revdanda of Raigad district. Since childhood he is fond of kirtan, bhajan, spiritual reading, outdoor sports
