It is our duty to preserve the rich history of Marathi language – Dr Sadanand More

Our Marathi language is rich and this language has a history of two thousand years. Maharashtra State Literature and Culture Board President Dr. Sadanand More asserted that it is our duty to preserve and promote the Marathi language here on Monday.
He was speaking at the Marathi Language Fortnight program organized by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation at the Municipal Headquarters.
He discussed the development of the Marathi language used in the 21st century from the administrative Marathi period of the Satavahana period with various examples and references from history.
Joint Commissioner (General Administration) Milin Sawant introduced. In this program, book sale hall at Dinanath Mangeshkar Theater in Vileparle was inaugurated by Additional Commissioner Ashish Sharma and book sale hall at Prabodhankar Thackeray Theater in Borivali (West) area was inaugurated by Dr. Sadanand More.
