The Indian Space Research Organization on Wednesday postponed the launch of its latest Earth observation satellite ‘GISAT-1’ for technical reasons tomorrow.
ISRO said in a statement, “The launch of the GISAT-1 onboard GSLV-F10, scheduled for March 05, 2020, has been postponed due to technical reasons. A revised launch date will be reported.” However, the space agency located here did not expand.
The weather was earlier set at 17:43 on Thursday, subject to weather conditions, from the second launch pad of Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh.
Weighing 2,268 kg, the GISAT-1 is a “state-of-the-art” Earth observation satellite, according to the space agency.
