Enact anti-conversion and anti-love jihad law in Maharashtra

Demand in 16th Warkari General Conference at Alandi

A resolution was passed here asking that a law against proselytization and anti-love jihad should be enacted in Maharashtra, encroachments on forts and forts should be removed immediately.

The 16th Statewide Warkari Conference was held at Alandi under the auspices of the National Warkari Parishad and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti on the occasion of Shri Sant Dyaneshwar Mauli Sanjeevan Samadhi. It was held at Mamasaheb Dandekar Memorial Temple, Gopalpura. The above resolution was approved in the session.

If girls are well-mannered and given religious education, they will not fall prey to ‘love jihad’. Hindus should organize themselves as Indians without getting stuck between parties and castes. This appeal was made by Amritashram Swami Maharaj (Dandi Swami) speaking on this occasion.

Ban on sale of liquor and meat in all pilgrimage sites, ban on discharge of waste water in Chandrabhaga in Pandharpur and Indrayani river in Alandi, all temples should be freed from government control, beer bars, mutton shops should not be named after deities and gadkots, Goose Conservation Commission should be set up in Maharashtra, with halal stamp Resolutions to boycott the products were approved on this occasion. The statement of these resolutions will be given to Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.

In the session, H.B.P. Prakash Maharaj Javanjal, Dwaracharya Dr. Ramakrishnadasji Maharaj Lahvitkar, Hindubhushan Shyamji Maharaj, Yogidattanath Maharaj, H.B.P. Gopal Maharaj Speaker, President of National Varkari Parishad H.B.P. Maruti Maharaj Tuntoo Shastri H.B.P. Bhagwan Maharaj Kokre, Milind Ekbote, Vijay Varudkar, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh states convenor Sunil Ghanwat also spoke.
