Emancipation from Slavery of English Language by New National Education Policy- Deepak Kesarkar

School Education Minister Deepak Kesarkar asserted here on Tuesday that we have not been freed from the slavery of the English language, but the work of freeing it from linguistic slavery will be done through the new national education policy.
As part of the ‘Pahile Paol’ initiative of the school readiness campaign, the first meeting in a representative format in the state was organized at the Worli Sea Face Municipal School Complex in Mumbai. The meeting was organized in association with Regional Education Authority and Brihanmumbai Municipal Education Department. Kesarkar was speaking at that time.
The first step under the pre-school preparation campaign for children entering class I in the academic session will be implemented for the preparation of 1.5 lakh children in more than 65 thousand schools of the state municipality, district council, social justice department etc. Students will be introduced to various activities, games, activities, emotional development, discipline, arts, how to test the ability of children and how to prepare them for school.
Actor Sachin Khedekar, actress Nishigandha Vad, Education Department Secretary, Commissioner, Director, all officers of the Municipal Corporation, employees, members of the School Management Committee, Anganwadi workers and children entering Class I and their parents were present on this occasion.
