DCP Saurabh Tripathi on the run after 2 cops get arrested in extortion case

DCP in Mumbai Police Saurabh Tripathi has been declared absconding, in an ongoing angadia firm extortion case probe, by the Crime Intelligence Unit (CIU) of Mumbai Crime Branch.

Three Policemen Arrested For Looting Rs 45 Lakhs From Businessman

Tripathi was on the run since the FIR was registered against two officers – assistant inspector Nitin Kadam and sub-inspector Samadhan Jamdade. Both officers, attached to the LT Marg police station, were arrested by CIU. Later, inspector Om Vangate was also arrested in the case.
