Dawood Ibrahim hiding in Pakistan, NIA team reaches Dubai

In a major operation, the Central Investigation Agency (NIA) has sent a five-member investigating officer team to Dubai with the intention of taking action against underworld don Dawood Ibrahim and his D company abroad as well.

This team, along with the local administration of Dubai, will tell them about D Company and stay in Dubai and appeal to take action against such terrorists and gangsters, who are engaged in carrying out anti-India activities from Dubai itself.

According to the source officer of NIA Headquarters, which officers have gone to Dubai, their names cannot be disclosed, but it is certain that after investigating the case registered against D Company, we have made a lot of Important evidence has been collected.

After that we have recorded the statement of many accused. Along with this, many accused have also been arrested in this case, but further action is being taken and the investigating agency can also take further help of foreign investigative agency if needed, on the basis of which further action will be taken.

Last year in 2022, the Central Investigation Agency NIA has registered a case under the UAPA Act against several other accused including underworld don Dawood Ibrahim.

The team of the investigating agency NIA is investigating against underworld don Dawood Ibrahim and his D company and is also going to take major action against the accused associated with it in the coming days.

According to NIA sources, Dawood Ibrahim, the main accused in the Mumbai blasts, has been hiding in Pakistan for the past several years and from there, Dawood Ibrahim and his underworld company are involved in terrorism and drug trade while carrying out anti-India activities.

Therefore, in view of the seriousness of this matter, while issuing an instruction by the Union Home Ministry, the investigation of this matter was handed over to the NIA.

The investigation of the case related to the Mumbai attack is also registered with the Central Investigation Agency (CBI).In this case, till now many accused have been arrested from many places including Mumbai and their illegally acquired properties have been attached.
