All Accused Acquitted in Malegaon Blast Case; ‘Conspiracy of Hindu Terror’ Exposed – Hindu Janajagruti Samiti Reacts

In a landmark verdict, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) special court acquitted all accused in the Malegaon bomb blast case, effectively debunking the long-standing narrative of so-called ‘Hindu terrorism’. Reacting to the judgment, the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti hailed the decision as long overdue justice and condemned the political conspiracy behind the false allegations.

“Not Revenge, But Justice Must Prevail” – Shri Ramesh Shinde

Shri Ramesh Shinde, National Spokesperson of the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, said:
“Patriotic individuals like Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur and Lt. Col. Purohit were unjustly imprisoned and subjected to inhuman mental and physical torture merely because they were Hindus. This wasn’t just an injustice against individuals, but a malicious attempt to defame the entire Hindu community.”

He further emphasized that, “Now that the truth has emerged, merely closing the case is not enough — those who fabricated this narrative must be brought to justice through strict legal action.”

Politically Driven Accusations?

The Samiti highlighted that former Union Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde, who had publicly used the term “Hindu terrorism”, later admitted it was a mistake — but under whose influence did he call it that? Who masterminded the defamation campaign against Hindus?

Shri Ramesh Shinde also referenced a revelation by WikiLeaks in which Congress leader Rahul Gandhi allegedly told a U.S. ambassador that “Hindu terrorism is a bigger threat than Pakistan-based Islamic terror.” The Samiti demanded an investigation into all those who propagated this false narrative for political gain.

“Justice Delivered, But The Battle Isn’t Over” – Samiti’s Stand

While lauding the court’s decision, the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti asserted that true justice would be served only when those who orchestrated this conspiracy are held legally accountable.
“If such political conspiracies are allowed to go unpunished, they may be repeated in the future,” warned Shinde.

Editorial Note:

This verdict does more than exonerate the wrongly accused — it also challenges dangerous political narratives that unfairly link religion with terror. The collapse of the ‘Hindu terror’ premise, in light of judicial scrutiny, marks a turning point in how communal discourse must be handled.
