A fire broke out at the electrical substation of ‘BEST’ in Wadala East

A fire broke out at the electricity substation of ‘BEST’ in Sangamnagar area of Wadala East on Monday night. The surrounding huts were burnt in this fire.
BEST’s power substation is near the slum behind Vidyalankar College in Wadala. It was said that the fire started due to short circuit. Due to the fire, the power supply in the surrounding area was disrupted. Firefighters managed to douse the fire late at night.
