Tragic incident: Several injured in collision of two trains at Kachiguda station in Hyderabad

In a tragic incident in Telangana, a local train collided with a static Express train at Kachiguda Station in Hyderabad. The Disaster Response teams are making all-out efforts to rescue the Pilot of local train who was stuck between two trains.

The incident occurred when an MMTS train and an express train had a head-on collision between Kacheguda- Malakpet railway stations in Hyderabad. Six coaches of MMTS service and three coaches of Hundry Express. MMTS was coming from Lingampally and was headed towards Falaknuma when around 10.30 am it collided with the express train coming from Kurnool which was heading to Secunderabad at Kanchegunda railway station yard.

Twelve passengers suffered injuries and have been rushed to nearby hospitals. The accident is said to have been occurred due to human error as a train came to the same track on which another train already existed.
