Traffic is completely closed from 12 noon to 6 pm due to quadruple work at Parashuram Ghat

The last phase of quadruple work at Parasuram Ghat in Chiplun taluka on the Mumbai-Goa highway has started from March 27. As a result, the ghat will be closed for six hours every day till April 3.
Traffic in the ghat will be completely closed from 12 noon to 6 pm. At present, the work of four-leveling in the ghat of a distance of about five kilometers is going on at a fast pace. The concerned contractor company along with the government system has planned to start the work of the entire ghat before the monsoons and open the ghat to its full capacity and safely for traffic.
Light vehicles will be diverted via Chiplun-Ambadus during this period.
