Three members of the same family died on Sunday afternoon, including a minor, after drowning in a deep water of a dam near Talegaon in Pune district of Maharashtra.

According to the police, the family had gone there to celebrate a picnic. A group of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) saved three other members of the family from the sinking. The NDRF team had come to take part in a training session nearby.
The deceased have been identified as Prashil Adhav (7), Anil Kolse (58) and Pritesh Agale (32). Police said that death case has been registered in this connection in the accident.
