This alliance will not last, Said Gadkari

No single party got a majority in the Maharashtra Assembly elections. However, despite losing the largest number of seats in the two parties to the Chief Minister, the BJP had to stay away from power. Now the way for the establishment of the historical front like Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress has been paved. BJP leader and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has predicted this front.

Though efforts are being made by the Shiv Sena, Congress and NCP to establish power in Maharashtra, the BJP has played a role in all these ways.

‘The alliance of Shiv Sena and BJP was based on Hindutva. This alliance was disastrous for Hindutva and Marathi people. However, the major step taken now is to take advantage of the opportunity. Therefore this lead will not last long. Nitin Gadkari has made his prediction by saying that this front cannot give a stable government to Maharashtra.

Meanwhile, doubts are still pending as to who will be the chief minister; there was discussion that Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray’s name was at the forefront for the chief minister. But now the name of MP and Shiv Sena firebrand leader Sanjay Raut has also come forward.
