The workshop on ‘Design of climate-resilient projects’ was concluded at the municipal headquarters

Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation has prepared an action plan to deal with natural calamities and this information was given through a computerized presentation.
A two-day special workshop on ‘Designing and Financing Climate Resilient Projects in South Asian Cities’ was recently organized in Mumbai. Municipalities from various countries, as well as representatives of local self-government bodies in India participated in the workshop.
The workshop concluded at the headquarters of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation. Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation Additional Commissioner (Eastern Suburbs) Mrs. Ashwini Bhide, Director General of ‘MCGM Center for Municipal Capacity Building and Research’ Dr. Ramanath Jha, Director of ‘National Institute of Urban Affairs’ Dr. Hitesh Vaidya etc. were present on this occasion
An agreement was also signed between the ‘MCGM Center for Municipal Capacity Building and Research’ and the National Institute of Urban Affairs for an environmental capacity training initiative.
