The work of the slum building being built by the MHADA Mumbai Board has finally started

The Mumbai Board of MHADA has started the construction of a residential house at Jijamata Nagar for those who come to Mumbai for education and employment. This work was stalled for the last few months.​​
The decision to build two residential houses in Mumbai was taken by the MHADA Mumbai Board. One of these residential houses will be built on a plot of 1821 square meters in Jijamata Nagar. The construction of the reidential house was scheduled to begin in February 2022. Work orders were also issued. But the work did not start due to some technical problems. Now this work has started and digging for the foundation of the building has started.
The cost of this slum is expected to be Rs. 19 crores. An 18-storey building will be constructed for the slum, and this building will have 375 rooms. The residential house will have accommodation for 500 people. The residential house will have facilities such as canteen, bank, gymnasium, parking lot etc.
