The pride of leading women in various fields- Chief Minister Shinde

Women are working alongside men in every field including social work, politics, administration, sports. Therefore, women’s power is not even a little behind that of men. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde asserted here yesterday that women are leaders in all fields and we are proud of these women.
On the occasion of Women’s Day, a special multi-media light and sound program based on the lives of accomplished women of Maharashtra was organized at the Gateway of India in association with the State Government’s Department of Tourism and Indian Oil. The Chief Minister was speaking at that time.
Punyashlok Ahilya Devi Holkar Awards were distributed on this occasion.
Women successfully juggle different roles in the workplace along with different responsibilities in the family. Behind it is their sacrifice. The Chief Minister also said that various schemes are being implemented by the state government for the overall welfare of women.
Union Minister Puri said, Maharashtra is the land of accomplished women and women safety, women empowerment, self-reliance and dignity of women are the identity of new India.
Dr. Poorecha, Chairman of Indian Oil Vaidya also expressed his concern.
Noor Jahan Begum Hameed Abdul Hameed Pandey (Dist. Washim), Vasanti Sampatrao Mahamulkar (Dist. Satara). Harshada Vidyadhar Kakade (District Ahmednagar), Vanmala Parashuram Pendharkar (District Washim), Shobha Gundappa Parshetty (District Latur) were included.
