The much awaited state cabinet expansion

Today, in the expansion of the state cabinet made by the Chief Minister of the state, Uddhav Thackeray, the Chief Minister himself has not kept any department with him. While Thane district Shiv Sena chief Eknath Shinde has been given the charge of State Home Affairs, State Ministry of Urban Development, Forest and Environment, Water Supply, Sanitation, Tourism, Public Works, Ex-Servicemen Welfare along with Parliamentary Affairs.

From the Nationalist Congress Party quota, Chhagan Bhujbal has been given the charge of Rural Development, Water Resources and Profit Area Development, Social Justice and Special Assistance, State Production Duty, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Food and Drug Administration.

Congress Maharashtra Pradesh President  Balasaheb Thorat has been given the charge of the Ministry of Energy and Traditional Energy, Legal and School Education, Animal Augmentation, Milk Business Development, and Business Development.

Shiv Sena leader Subhash Desai has been entrusted with the work of Industry and Systems Education and Youth Welfare, Agriculture, Employment Hami Yojana, fruit production, transport, Marathi language development, cultural work, earthquake rehabilitation, land development.

NCP Maharashtra Pradesh President Jayant Patil has been given the charge of finance and planning, home construction, public health, co-operation and marketing, Anna Nagari Purath and customer protection, worker and minority development.

Dr. Nitin Kashinath Raut has been assigned the Ministry of Public Works, Public Enterprises, Tribal Development, Women and Child Development, Textile Industry and Rehabilitation, Other Backward Classes, Social and Educational Declassified Castes, Wanderers and Special Backward Classes Welfare.
