Sri Peetham seer Swami Paripoornananda joins BJP

New Delhi: Ahead of the Telangana assembly polls, Sri Peetham seer Swami Paripoornananda today called on Amit Shah and officially joined BJP.

Speaking to the media, BJP National President Amit Shah said that Swami Paripoornananda’s presence will improve the poll prospects of BJP in upcoming Telangana assembly election.

Heaping praises on welfare activities carried out by Swami Paripoornananda, Shah asserted that Paripoornananda’s move will boost BJP’s outreach drive in states like Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Karnataka.

Earlier in the day, Swami Paripoornananda who was in the national capital met senior BJP leader Ram Madhav and discussed the political developments in the poll-bound Telangana.

According to media reports, in order to utilize Paripoornananda’s reach and mass appeal, BJP is likely to field Swami from in Greater Hyderabad. Founder of Hindu Vahini, Swami Paripoornananda was booked over the charges of hate speech.
