Skilled Employment through Skill University and,Promotion of self-employment – Governor Koshyari


MUMBAI- Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari asserted here that the courses at Kaushal University will give a big boost to the movement of skilled employment and self-employment. Minister of Skill, Employment, Entrepreneurship and Innovation Department Mangalprabhat Lodha informed that one thousand skill centers will be set up in the rural areas of the state in the next six months.

The construction of the Maharashtra State Skills University building will soon be ground-breaking ceremony and the university operations and courses will start in the new building before 2024. Lodha also said that these courses will be taught in Marathi, English and Hindi languages.

The university offers courses in Artificial Intelligence, Cyber ​​Security, Machine Learning, Business Intelligence and Innovation, Bachelor of Business Administration and others.

Vice Chancellor of Kaushal University Dr. Apoorva Palkar gave information about the future plans of the university through a presentation.
