Shiv Rajyabhishek Day ceremony tomorrow at Raigad fort

On the occasion of the 350th anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s coronation ceremony, the state government will celebrate Shiv Rajyabhishek Day tomorrow (Friday, June 2) at Raigad Fort.

The program will start at 8:30 in the morning.
Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, Union Culture Minister G. Kishan Reddy, Cultural Affairs Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar, Guardian Minister Uday Samant, Raigad Development Authority Chairman Sambhaji Raje Chhatrapati will be present on this occasion.

Through the television system Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s message will be broadcast live.
On the occasion of Shiv Rajyabhishek Day celebrations, various cultural programs have been organized at Pachad in Raigad Fort area from today till June 6.

Heavy traffic has been restricted on the Mumbai-Goa highway and the Wakan-Khopoli route in view of the 350th Shiva Rajyabhishek Day celebrations being celebrated at Raigad fort. Heavy vehicles have been banned from Wednesday midnight to 12 midnight on June 2, and from 12 midnight on June 4 to 12 midnight on June 6.

Meanwhile, various cultural programs have been organized at the Gateway of India from today till June 7 in association with the Cultural Affairs Department and Western Region Cultural Centre.
