Rules announced to keep Dadasaheb Phalke Film City area clean

In order to keep Dadasaheb Phalke Film City area clean and beautiful, ‘Guidelines for Cleanliness’ have been announced. The managing director of Film City, Dr. Avinash Dhakne informed that a fine of five thousand rupees will be imposed on the organizations that do not follow the rules.

According to the new rules, production houses should segregate wet and dry waste in green and blue bins at the shooting locations, collect and separate used plastic drinking water bottles, other plastics and non-reusable wood, bamboo, wire, iron materials, etc. The responsibility of cleaning the used space has been entrusted to the respective manufacturing organizations.

It is also mandatory to submit the photograph of that location to the studio department on the same day through WhatsApp on mobile number 7738826186 using the GO tag technique after the completion of the shooting.

The Chitranagari management has also appealed to the artists and workers to instruct the artists and workers to use only the clean toilets available in the Chitranagari area. Also, it has been clarified that the bags required for waste segregation (green, yellow, blue) will be provided free of charge through the corporation.
