Ready to experience super speed on wheels..! Vande Bharat Express is here for you..

The most awaited super-fast train 18 is ready in service from Delhi to Varanasi. People are enthusiastic to experience countries first super speed on wheels.

“I am grateful to designers and engineers behind Vande Bharat Express which will take its first trip from Delhi to Varanasi today. With our sincerity and hard work in the last 4.5 years we have tried to improve railways,” said Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi today as he flagged off country’s first semi high-speed train Vande Bharat Express from New Delhi Railway station.

Railway Minister Piyush Goyal and members of the Railway Board were present on the occasion and will be on board the train on its inaugural journey.

Adding up the green footprints, the train has a regenerative braking system which can save up to 30 percent of electrical energy.

It has 16 air-conditioned coaches of which two are executive class. The total seating capacity is 1,128 passengers. It is much more than the conventional Shatabdi rakes of the equal number of coaches, thanks to shifting of all electric equipment below coaches and seats in the driving coach also.

The train will travel from Delhi to Varanasi in nine hours and forty-five minutes. This includes stoppage time of 40 minutes each at Kanpur and Allahabad where there will be special programmes.

The bookings for the train have begun and it will run commercially from February 17 from Delhi to Varanasi five days a week.

Now it’s time that all humanitarian factors should come together. If all countries unite together under one agenda of fighting terrorism, then this evil will vanish in short while.

He also expressed satisfaction for the website of railways. This website is user-friendly and very helpful for the common man. Railways are improving in many fields like digitization and creating employment. It created around 2.25 lakh employment in recent days.

Prime Minister could not stop himself and said reiterate that we will give fitting reply for every drop of blood which is martyrs for the nation.
