Political earthquake in Maharashtra, some NCP MLAs including Ajit Pawar join Shiv Sena BJP government

There was a political earthquake in Maharashtra politics today (Sunday). Thirty NCP MLAs along with state opposition leader Ajit Pawar have decided to join the government by supporting the Shiv Sena-BJP alliance.

Ajit Pawar took oath as Deputy Chief Minister. Senior NCP leaders Chhagan Bhujbal, Dilip Valse Patil along with Hasan Mushrif, Dhananjay Munde, Dharmarao Atram, Aditi Tatkare, Sanjay Bansode, Anil Patil took oath as ministers.

Governor Ramesh Bais administered oath of office and secrecy to all at Raj Bhavan this afternoon. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis were present at this swearing-in ceremony.
