Police Action in Jamia “wrong” – Priyanka Chopra

Despite the very sensitive circumstances around the country on the Citizenship Amendment Act, there are many famous faces of the country who are using their statements to add fuel to the matter without seeing the circumstances.

The latest case is that of Priyanka Chopra, who is married to a famous film actress and recently foreign actor, to work in international films, she probably has to maintain her image internationally so she allegedly completed the vandalism at Jamia Millia University yesterday. The police have questioned the action.

According to him, despite the peaceful demonstration by the students of Jamia Millia University in the world’s largest democracy, police violence is wrong. However, with great disdain, actress Priyanka Chopra did not talk about why the police action took place, with this she did not open the violent protest against the citizenship amendment law across the country.

Earlier, many people including actor Farhan Akhtar, Hrithik Roshan, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayub, Parineeti Chopra, Siddharth Malhotra, veteran screenwriter Javed Akhtar, filmmakers Vishal Bhardwaj and Anurag Kashyap and Hollywood actor John Cusack opposed the law. But none of them opened their mouth on the violence prevailing across the country in the name of protest.
