In order to improve the poll-prospects of BJP in Andhra Pradesh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to kick-start the officially poll campaign from politically sensitive Rayalaseema region. Traditionally Rayalaseema is considered to be a stronghold of Jagan Mohan Reddy’s YSR Congress Party.
According to media reports, PM Modi will hold two mega rallies in the coastal state. The first meetings will be organized in Kurnool or Anantapur whereas the second poll gathering is scheduled in Vizianagaram district of the north Andhra. Besides PM Modi, BJP National Chief Amit Shah, UP Chief Minister Yogi Aditynath and several national leaders will address the series of meetings in the turf of ruling Telugu Desam.
