Over Rs 177 crores aid to farmers affected by unseasonal rains

Chief Minister Eknath Shinde yesterday inspected the damage and condition of farmers due to unseasonal rains in the state. Chief Minister Shinde assured that financial assistance will be given to the affected farmers as soon as Panchnama is done. A total fund of 177.80 crores has been given to 28 districts.
The compensation for the month of March will be deposited in the bank account of the farmers soon. The chief minister’s office has also tweeted. Also, Chief Minister Shinde has given instructions to the concerned talathi, gram sevak, agricultural assistants that Panchnama of the damaged farmers should be done immediately.
