Organizing ‘Janata Raja’ grand play at Shivaji Udyan

A series of six rehearsals of the grand play ‘Janata Raja’, conceived by Maharashtra Bhushan Shivshahir Babasaheb Purandare, has been organized from March 14 to March 19 at Shivaji Udyan, Dadar. Mahanatyam rehearsals will be held every evening at 7:00 PM.
It has been organized by BJP MLA Adv. Ashish Shelar. More than 250 actors are participating in this grand play which tells the history and biography of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
In this Mahanatya many events will be presented such as pre-birth period of Shiva, birth of Shiva, judgment of Shiva Raya, punishment given to Ranjya Patla, killing of Afzal Khan, raid of Surate, defeat of Shahiste Khan, escape from Agra and coronation ceremony.
Mahanatya free tickets will be available at Shivaji Mandir- Dadar, Prabodhankar Thackeray Theater- Borivali, Dinanath Mangeshkar Theater- Vileparle, Kalidas Theater- Mulund, Damodar Theater- Parel from March 9.
