Open Essay Writing Competition by Office of Commissioner of Income Tax (Exemption), Pune

Office of Commissioner of Income Tax (Exemption), Pune, has organised an Open Essay Writing Competition on 02/10/2022 in commemoration of 75 years of independence. The following topics have been selected for the Essay Competition for the year 2022-2023.

For Class 8th to 10th

Indian Economy: Challenges and the road ahead
Contribution of Income Tax in Empowering India
Maximum word limit will be 2000 words.

For Class 11th to 12th

The evil of Black Money: roadblock in the progress of a nation
Inimitable Role of Tax Administration in Nation Building

Maximum word limit will be 3000 words

Prize Money:

The prize money for Class 8th to 10th will be as follows. First Prize: Rs.7,500/-, Second Prize: Rs.5,000/-, Third Prize: Rs.3,000/-, 5 Consolation Prizes of Rs.1,000/- each.

The prize money for Class 11th to 12th will be as follows, First Prize: Rs.10,000/-, Second Prize: Rs.7,500/-, Third Prize: Rs.5,000/-, 5 Consolation Prizes of Rs.2,000/- each.

The essay is expected to be analytical, research based and concise to the topic. The Google form link for the competition will be open for 12 hours on 02/10/2022 from 10.00 AM to 10.00 PM.

The essay will be evaluated by the Board of Examiners of the o/o Commissioner of Income Tax (Exemptions), Pune. The Commissioner of Income Tax (Exemptions), Pune reserves the right not to award the prize or to reduce the prize amount if the essay is not of suitable quality. The decision of the Commissioner of Income Tax (Exemptions), Pune will be final.
